2012 SPRING/SUMMER |
|
 |
We’d like to take you on a nostalgic journey through the 1950s when livin’ became easy...introducing an era of ‘relaxed glamour’.
This was epitomised by the Cocktail Hour.
The Cocktail Hour wasn’t so much a time but a mood the time of day when you kick back and relax with a martini or a manhattan after a hard day at the office.
A time when the cocktail itself became a fashion accessory.
It was all about the glamour darling.
Raise your glasses everyone... A toast to women with curves in all the right places!
Proudly Australian-Made, this collection is guaranteed to go straight to your head! Enjoy
SPECIAL THANX TO ANDREW WUTTKE FOR NOT ONLY TAKING THE AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHS, BUT FOR GOING WELL BEYOND THE ROLE OF PHOTOGRAPHER AND ALSO CO-CREATING (with myself) THE AWESOME 1950s SET!! |

Think Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks meets Emma Peel of The Avengers. Va va voom!
This Autumn/Winter 2011, Sprinkle invites you to meet the Leader of the Pack, a sophisticated bombshell who loves to accessorise with a bit of bikie chick glamour.
As much a sculptor of fabrics as a designer, Sprinkle crafts luxurious wools and wool-blends into sexy power suits. High-waisted panelled pencil skirts with contrast back-pleats leave no doubt that you’re ‘asset-rich’, whilst matching jackets with super-sized collars curve from neck to nipped-in waist, flaring out into hip-hugging peplums.
Sprinkle has used the softest wool jersey to combine comfort with glamour in wrapdresses and long-sleeved tops with lavishly cowled necklines. Leather detailing on hooded jumpers and tailored hour-glass dresses adds a dash of daring.
Sprinkle’s trademark bias-cut, wrap dresses feature saucy peekaboo sleeves this season, along with her unerring eye for a fabulous print.
The colour scheme for Leader of the Pack is noirish smoky blues and greys, rich triple-creams and toasty luminous reds, along with her signature charcoals and blacks.
Whether you are size 8 or 18, blessed with an hour-glass or cello silhouette, the Leader of the Pack range will dress you to impress in timeless classics with a twist. Be a ‘rebel with a cause’ this Autumn/Winter and get sassy with Sprinkle.

2010 AUTUMN/WINTER |
|
 |
Introducing the AW2010 collection by Melbourne fashion designer, Sprinkle. Known for her hourglass silhouettes, Sprinkle garments are cut for curves and proudly Australian made.
Welcome to a world where Sherlock Meets Zsa Zsa - a fusion of turn of the century olde world styling, with seductive 50s glamour-puss prowess.
This collection is a stylish blend of suiting, silk blouses, crisp shirting, and sexy dresses. The colour palette: aubergine, wine, petrol, plaid, black, and animal print.
Sprinkle has chosen two iconic characters of their time and created a story of love, deception and intrigue. This is a fantastical tale of the imagination…one where unlikely folk meet. A moment so electrifying that it is almost unimaginable.
Let the story begin…
Sherlock Holmes, with his distinctive plaid cloak, smoking pipe and magnifying glass, was a fictional London based detective of the early 20th century. Equipped with a refined technique in observation and logic, he meets Zsa Zsa Gabor, a Hungarian-American actress, socialite and former beauty queen, known as much for her numerous trips to the altar as for being a Hollywood starlet.
Sherlock approaches with trepidation, leaving no stone unturned as he delves into the misadventures of this mysterious woman, Zsa Zsa. However, despite his knowing, he too falls prey to this seductress and is lured into her web…
This sophisticated, sexy collection is a celebration of women’s strength of mind and of the womanly form. Enjoy! |

2009 SPRING/SUMMER |

Prepare to voyage the high seas this summer in suitable style, as Sprinkle pays homage to the maritime in her latest collection, Sunset Sailor.
Taking cues from the confident beauties of the 1940’s, the collection conjures images of glamorous gals at naval ports.
With a palette of ink to ocean blue, ivory and deep shades of red, Sprinkle has combined the romantic with the nautical to create her very own tale from the sea. |

2008 AUTUMN/WINTER |

Welcome to the world of Madam Mafia....inspired by all those passionate, fiery European women who are not afraid to speak their minds!! Think Sophia Loren and Isabella Rossellini.
This collection is not for the faint hearted. Madam Mafia is a strong and yet feminine woman, who wants to stand out from the crowd. She is glamorous and stylish....a woman who knows and gets what she wants.
As with all Sprinkle collections, autumn/winter 2008 is indeed timeless. Think ‘Classic with a Twist’!
Stunning wool suiting that would take you from the boardroom to the bar; tailored pants and vests that make you feel every bit the modern day Mafia woman; divine silk blouses that are feminine and yet strong; bias cut dresses that are cut to highlight the sensual curves of a woman; and of course the simply breath taking, ’La Dolce Vita’ coats!!
Until recently the thought of women rising through the Mafia ranks was unthinkable, but all that is changing. Mafia Women are becoming bosses in their own right.
Be self indulgent and assertive...we all deserve a little luxury in our lives.
This collection is dedicated to my father, Mr Mafioso

2008 SPRING/SUMMER |
|

In the desert a fountain is springing,
In the wide waste there is still a tree,
And a bird in the solitude singing,
Which speaks to my spirit of thee.
-Lord Byron
Take yourself on a little adventure with Sprinkle’s Spring/Summer 2008 collection, ‘Desert Sands’. Drawing inspiration from the vastness and heat of the desert, Sprinkle has combined beautiful fabrics with innovative designs to create garments that give a sense of comfort and confidence to the wearer. Like the great expanse of desert, the collection is liberating and harmonious.
The desert by moonlight is alive with movement. Shadowy silhouettes of plants and creatures fill the night skies…as dawn arrives the star-encrusted skies change from black to shades of blue and the brilliant reds of the rising sun. The enormity of the sandy desserts is visible as far as the eye can see.
With a strong appreciation of the female form, Sprinkle gives women the freedom to move whilst glorifying their natural curves.
Sprinkle has again collaborated with artist/printmaker, Tim Growcott, to create a selection of garments that have been meticulously hand-printed with original designs. This is an exquisite melding of art and fashion. |

Indulge yourself in the decadence of 'Russian Princess'. Renowned for her flattering cuts and teaming luxurious fabrics with exquisite craftsmanship, Sprinkle has created a collection that is all things regal.
Sprinkle’s great grandfather (or Zaida as he was affectionately referred to by her mother) was a tailor in Russia and a teacher of Russian dance. He danced for the Russian Royalty. Her maternal grandparents were involved in the ragtrade in London post WWII and her paternal grandfather made boots for Mussolini in Rome. With her lineage steeped in a history so rich with culture and cloth, it’s little wonder that Sprinkle has followed in the footsteps of her ancestors.
This collection is dedicated to Sprinkle’s maternal family…and her desire to reconnect with them after leaving Europe as a small child.
